Kia ora,

My name is Harry White, founder of Thought Branch Films. I am currently a 4rd-year Bachelor of Screen Arts Honours student at Massey University. I have a passion for the art and creation of film, specialising in cinematography, and have been making films since I was 8 years old. My passion for the craft has only grown since then.

 

My goal is to create innovative and impactful cinematography to tell stories on the big screen.

 

My company, Thought Branch, represents the idea that as we create, our thoughts branch out and expand, taking one idea and using it to discover more exciting and creative concepts.

 

I also enjoy storytelling as a director and performer, with a strong background in acting. I was selected as a member of the Young Shakespeare Company, performing at the Globe Theatre in London in 2022.

As for my work in film, I’m proud to have co-written and worked as the cinematographer on TUNED OUT, which won

Best Overall Film at the NZYFF,  a truly rewarding experience.
 

My experience is as a DP/camera team roles, as well as working with technology such as virtual production screens. I'm always open to new challenges and expanding my skill set in lighting and cinematography.
